byFormica DewDrop
Here again is a fantastic concept that will help ant keepers feed their ants and keep their outworlds free from mould by byFormica.
The DewDrop uses a method that involves Spherification, a process of shaping a liquid into spheres usually using sodium alginate and either calcium chlorate or calcium glucate lactate.
Still in the testing phase these little balls of liquid stay solid so that your ants won't succumb to drowning. It looks like they'll be non wetting as well so you'll be able to place them directly where you shouldn't, like inside a test tube or directly onto your outworld substrate.
We'll be keeping an eye out on this one and will be sure to let you guys know when they hit the market.
Kudos to byFormica for again pushing the industry forward.
