Gamergate all in one wood formicarium
So here it is. The final result. For only our second attempt at a wood formicarium we think it came up quite nice.
With the nest in the centre of the formicarium it leaves plenty of room around the outside for foraging. There are also separate acrylic lids to each area so you can access the outworld to feed the ants without removing the lid on the nest. They are held in place with a friction fit. We are still working on a solution for easily opening these.
We'll attempt to move the lucky ant colony in later this month.

In an unfortunate case of bad timing, a live TV interview in Australia has been interrupted by a mating swarm of ants during their nuptial flight.
