Change.org petition to rename fire ants to "spicey boys"
pupperg small has started an online petition at change.org to change Solenopsis invicta's common name from fire ants to "spicey boys".
Whilst most petitions are wasting peoples times saving the dolphins or making drugs legal, pupperg small has decided to tackle the big issues.
For far too long fire ants have had to endure their onerous nick name. But fear not Solenopsis, for you may soon be known as spicey boys. Clearly an improvement.
Anyway check out the petition here. At last count there was over 52,000 crazy supporters.
