Polyrhachis ammon makes a return.

We managed to shoot this macro video of the fabled Polyrhachis ammon yesterday. 

We've noticed they've started to come to the surface over the last few days as the weather has started to warm up. 

We also came across an alate queen in one nest so we'll be keeping a close eye on these ants for any signs of their nuptial flight.
